10 - years old boy submerged in a forsaken galamsey pit - Obuase

It is believed today that, a 10 years boy has drown in forsaken galamsey pit at Beansre Obuasi.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, reports claim that a 10 year old boy fell into a pit while playing with his peers in the morning which is not be clearly confirmed.

Moreover, most of the residents suspected that the boy was killed before his dead body was thrown into the pit full of water.

The dead body of the boy has since been removed from the pit and kept at the morgue. Investigations also began as the incident was reported to the police.

Since the body has been deposited at the morgue, the boy's parents had been begging with the police to release the boy to them.
